5 Best Wooden MagSafe Stands Under $100 (2026)

5 Best Wooden MagSafe Stands Under $100 (2026)

You don't need to spend $190 to get a quality handmade wooden MagSafe stand for your desk. There are real options out there made from solid hardwood by actual craftspeople, and most of them cost less than half of what the big-name brands charge.

We looked at the wooden MagSafe stands currently available under $100, compared materials, build quality, and design, and narrowed it down to five that are actually worth your money. Full disclosure: our Monolith stand is on this list. We'll be upfront about that and let the specs speak for themselves.

One note before we get into it: none of these stands include the Apple MagSafe charger. You'll need to supply your own, which runs about $39. So factor that into the total cost.

1. Monolith MagSafe Stand by Tilde Woodworking / $75

Wood options: Solid walnut, maple, or black ash Construction: Carved from a single piece of hardwood Hardware: Precision-milled anodized aluminum charger holder Weight: 1.25 lbs Finish: Zero-VOC natural oil Made in: Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

This is ours, so take it with that context. The Monolith is carved from a single block of sustainably sourced hardwood with no lamination, no veneer, and no separate base piece. The MagSafe charger drops into an anodized aluminum holder that's milled to fit precisely, secured with a reusable microsuction pad.

Three wood species are available. Walnut runs dark with rich grain, maple is light and clean, and black ash has a bold modern contrast. Each one is finished by hand with zero-VOC natural oils in our Colorado Springs studio.

At 1.25 pounds, the solid hardwood gives it enough weight to stay put when you pull your phone off one-handed. The design is minimal on purpose. No mixed materials, no leather or concrete or metal base. Just wood and aluminum.

Best for: People who want the wood to be the whole product, not just part of it.

2. Modhaus Upright One / $75

Wood options: Solid walnut or oak Base: Hand-cast architectural concrete Weight: 545g (about 1.2 lbs) Viewing angle: 37 degrees Made in: Houston, Texas, USA

Modhaus pairs solid wood with a hand-cast concrete base, which gives it a distinctive architectural look that no other stand on this list has. Every concrete base comes out slightly different from the casting process, so each one has unique surface texture.

The 37-degree angle is designed specifically around iOS StandBy mode, which is a thoughtful detail if you use your stand on a nightstand. A reusable microsuction pad holds the charger in place without permanent adhesive.

Best for: People who want something that looks like it belongs in a design magazine and use StandBy mode regularly.

3. KerfCase MagSafe Charger Dock / Starting at $60

Wood options: Figured walnut, figured sapele, birdseye maple, figured butternut, aromatic red cedar Construction: Carved from a single piece of wood Made in: USA (Pittsburgh, PA)

KerfCase is known for their wooden phone cases, but their MagSafe dock deserves attention. It's carved from a single piece of wood, similar to the Monolith, but they offer some unusual species you won't find elsewhere. Figured sapele, birdseye maple, and aromatic red cedar are options alongside the more standard walnut.

At $60, it's the most affordable single-piece hardwood stand on this list. Each one is made to order in their Pennsylvania shop. The design is simpler and more compact than some others here, which could be a plus or minus depending on your desk setup.

Best for: People who want unusual wood species and the lowest price for a single-piece hardwood stand.

4. Oakywood MagSafe Desk Shelf Mount / $81

Wood options: Oak, black-stained oak, or walnut Base: Steel clamp mechanism with aluminum components Viewing angle: 25 degrees Made in: EU (Poland)

This one is different from the rest because it clamps to the edge of a desk shelf or monitor riser rather than sitting flat on the desk. If you have an Oakywood desk shelf or similar raised platform, this mount keeps your phone at eye level and off your desk surface entirely.

The build uses solid wood with a steel clamp and aluminum components. At 25 degrees, the viewing angle is more upright than the Modhaus. Oakywood is a family-run workshop in Poland with strong environmental sourcing credentials.

The catch: it only works if you have something to clamp it to. As a standalone desk stand, this isn't the right pick. But if you already have a desk shelf setup, it's a clever space-saving solution.

Best for: People with a desk shelf or monitor riser who want to mount their phone at eye level.

5. Ugmonk Gather MagSafe Phone Stand / $89

Wood options: Maple or walnut Base: Powder-coated steel Colors: Black/maple, white/maple, black/walnut, white/walnut Dimensions: 3.25"W x 2.5"L x 4.5"H Made in: Downingtown, Pennsylvania, USA

The Gather stand is part of Ugmonk's modular desk system. It combines a solid wood puck with a powder-coated steel frame, and a microsuction pad holds the MagSafe charger in place. You can use it standalone or magnetically attach it to their Base Plate or Monitor Stand if you're already in the Gather ecosystem.

A nice trick: the wooden puck has its own magnet on the back, so you can pull it off the stand and stick it flat to any steel surface for a lay-flat charging setup for your iPhone or AirPods.

At $89 it's the priciest option on this list, but the build quality is solid, it's made in Pennsylvania, and it works in both vertical and horizontal orientation. The tradeoff is that wood plays a supporting role here rather than being the whole structure. Steel does most of the work.

Best for: People who want a modular desk setup or already use other Ugmonk Gather components.

So Which One Should You Get?

All five of these are real upgrades over any plastic MagSafe stand. Real wood, actual craftsmanship, and materials that will last years instead of months. Here's the short version:

Best overall value: The Monolith and Modhaus are both $75 and both handmade in the USA. The Monolith pairs solid hardwood with a CNC machined anodised aluminum MagSafe holder. Modhaus has the concrete base and a wider viewing angle for StandBy mode. You really can't go wrong with either.

Most affordable solid wood: KerfCase at $60 gets you a single-piece hardwood stand with wood species options you won't find anywhere else. Hard to beat for the price.

Most creative design: Modhaus. The concrete and wood combination looks different from everything else on the market. If your desk setup leans architectural or industrial, this is the one.

Best space saver: The Oakywood mount, if you have a desk shelf to clamp it to. It gets your phone off the desk entirely.

Most versatile system: Ugmonk Gather at $89. It's the only stand here that doubles as part of a modular desk organization system, and the magnetic wood puck detaches for flat charging.

The wooden MagSafe stand market under $100 is actually surprisingly good right now. A few years ago your choices were Grovemade at $190 or cheap plastic from Amazon. Now there are multiple handmade options from small makers at half that price or less. Your desk is better off for it.
